“Dewa Meisatsu Santera Mairi” Plan

Background

“Dewa Meisatsu Santera Mairi” (Visit the Three Famous Temples of Dewa) refers to Murayama’s regional sightseeing plan of visiting three of the famous and historic old temples of the Murayama region, each of which impart spiritual blessings, with a seal-collecting book. This plan was implemented last fiscal year, and has been especially popular among women.

~“Dewa Meisatsu Santera Mairi” (Visit the Three Famous Temples of Dewa): at these ancient sites, visitors can cut bad relations, restore one’s youth, and bring in good relations.~

    believed to be a temple for severing bad relations

    known for restoring one’s youth and beauty

    famous for its deity of matchmaking, Kannon

    (Period from the special revealing of the Jionji Hibutsu (Buddhist image) to the closing of the Konpon Chudo in Yamadera)

    The following will be sold as a package for 3,330 yen.
     ・One original seal booklet for use with the three applicable temples
     ・Yamadera entrance fee, Jionji entrance fee ticket, money offering for use of ema (votive tablet) in Jakushoji

  • Where to purchase: seal stamp area in any of the three temples

○Participation in “Lottery by Smartphone”
  • After receiving your last stamp at the third temple, you will get a seal in your seal booklet
  • After taking a picture of the seal with your smartphone, you will enter a lottery (using an app)
  • If you receive “大吉” (“Dai-kichi,” or Excellent Luck), you will receive a product of Yamagata Prefecture (send from application form)
  • Prefectural product: Product representative of Yamagata, food items that can only be found in Yamagata
    ※Total number of presents: 88

Encounters with “Made in Yamagata”: Program Outline

Objective

 Spotlighting the popular new type of tourism, “industrial tourism,” we aim to develop more of it in Yamagata Prefecture, particularly in the Murayama region, which makes use of its high-level manufacturing technology for its tourist attractions.
 We have gained the cooperation of fashion and interior companies, and are especially targeting females with high information sensibility.

Outline

 We are presenting a plan where one can enjoy seeing, experiencing (through factory tours), and discovering a new favorite = purchasing products (shopping at directly-operated stores) through the “manufacturing that connects with the world” which joins the high-level technology that Yamagata Prefecture boasts with its superior designs.

    • Please make an application directly to the desired company from the list from (3) above at least 7 days before the desired date.
  • Tour of directly-operated shop
    • You can visit Tendo Mokko Showroom and Sato Seni Co. Ltd. “Select Shop GEA” without an application.
    • For the three other companies, please contact them beforehand in advance.
  • We will offer a present of original goods to participants by lottery
How to Apply for Original Goods

One can participate through the stamp sheet and application form set, “Made in Yamagata Card.” These cards are given at each company’s tours, and are also in directly-operated shops.

  • Obtain a stamp from one of the five listed companies when toured (except Sato Seni Co. Ltd.)
  • TObtain a stamp when purchasing an item at a directly-operated shop other than the factory visited for a tour
      ※ The order of ①、② does not matter
  • After the second stamp has been received, the card will be placed in the application box of the directly-operated shop
  • Present of original goods chosen by lottery
     Prize A: Original Shawl from Sato Seni Co. Ltd. (1 person)
     Prize B: Wood-cover notebook from Tendo Mokko (with service for name engraving ) (20 persons)
    ※Name engraving may be done by a name engraving specialist service if requested
